Keeping Four-Legged Friends Safe
A Project for Our Local Dogs Charity
Our directors are big fans of dogs, so when they found out that the Rescue Hotel charity that supports Cardiff Dogs Home were short of appropriate vehicles for transporting their charges, they did something about it.
SM Commercials purchased and retrofitted a Vauxhall Vivaro, and donated it to the Rescue Hotel for use in their duties. With the help of several partners, the van is now kitted with berths for six dogs, visual and audio monitoring systems, a sound system to play soothing music for its canine passengers (which is more helpful than you might think!), flashing amber safety lamps and decals. We also cover the repair and maintenance of the vehicle.
